Before she died,...My mother used to worry about me. Before she died, I tried to calm her fears and told her that maybe being perpetually sad was simply part of my genes. It was who I was. I say if paddling like mad keeps your head above water, then that is a huge triumph. Give yourself credit to doing that! And I hope this passes for you soon, or you find methods of managing it.
